A little about me
For decades I worked on the front line in pharmacies, looking after people who needed a little extra support. Over the years I watched more and more pharmacies stop carrying mobility aids. But the need never went away. People still came to me needing something quickly, often unsure what it was, or what would actually work for them at home.
What I've always been good at is the conversation. Listening, asking the right questions, and working out together what someone needs and how they need it. So when I reached the point in my life where I wanted something of my own, Mrs Mobility felt like the natural next step. It lets me focus on what I do best, which is helping people one-to-one.
When you call, you talk to me. No call centre and no pushy sales, just a proper chat about what's going on and what will make the days ahead easier. And if what you need isn't on my list, I'm always happy to find it for you.

Comfortable, well-kept equipment for recovery at home and everyday living.
Hilite Chair
A tall, high-backed armchair with a raised seat. After hip or back surgery you're often told to keep your hips above your knees and avoid low couches. This chair lets you sit comfortably for longer, and the firm arms make getting up and down much easier.
Utility Chair
A firm, upright chair with adjustable seat and arm heights, set to suit you. Great at the kitchen table or in the bedroom, with sturdy arms to push up from so you can stand on your own.
Commode Chair
A chair with a lidded toilet bucket underneath that sits beside your bed. No more walking to the bathroom half-asleep at night, when falls are most likely. With the padded lid down, it looks just like an ordinary chair.
Over-Toilet Seat
A frame with a seat and armrests that stands over your existing toilet. It raises the height so there's less bending, and the armrests give you something to push off when standing. Lifts away easily when it's not needed.
Sitz Bath
A small basin that fits into your toilet bowl, under the seat. Fill it with warm water and sit to soak and soothe the area gently after childbirth, haemorrhoid surgery or other surgery down there, without climbing in and out of a full bath.
Bath Transfer Bench
A bench that sits across your bath. Sit down on the outside end, then slide across while seated, so you never have to step over the bath edge. Shower sitting down with a handheld shower. Available in fixed and sliding-seat styles.

Absolutely, that's what I'm here for. Most people who call me aren't sure what they need. Tell me what's going on, whether it's an upcoming operation, a recent fall or just daily tasks getting harder, and we'll work it out together.
Should I hire or buy a mobility aid?
Hiring usually makes sense if you need something for a short time, like recovering after surgery. Buying can be better if it's something you'll use every day for the long term. I offer both, and I'll help you work out which suits your situation.
What equipment might I need after a hip replacement?
People recovering from hip surgery often find a high-seat chair like the Hilite Chair, an over-toilet seat and a bath transfer bench make home life much easier and safer. Always follow the advice from your surgeon, hospital or physio, and I'm happy to talk it through with you.
What is a sitz bath used for?
A sitz bath is a small basin that sits in your toilet bowl, under the seat. You fill it with warm water to gently soak and soothe the area after childbirth, haemorrhoid surgery or other surgery in that area, without getting in and out of a full bath.
